We arrive in Trondheim in the late afternoon: more than 1000 years old town located in the fjord of the same name, it has long been the Norwegian capital, and all the coronations continue to be held in Nidaros Cathedral, erected in 1070. on the tomb of st. Olav. Accommodation in a hotel. Walk downtown around Munkegata shopping street and beautifully landscaped harbor. Overnight stay.
Day 3: TRONDHEIM-CHRISTIANSUND ATLANTIC TUNNEL AND ATLANTIC ROAD - MOLDE
Breakfast. Checking out of the hotel and traveling through the fjords region turns southwest. Through beautiful, idyllic Norwegian landscapes and the northern extension of the famous Atlantic Road, it leads us to Kristiansund, a town located on four islands: Innlandet, Kirkelandet, Nordlandet and Gomalandet. The town experienced a renaissance after the Second World War in which it was devastated. Panoramic view of Kristiansund, the old part of Innlandet and the inner city center, free short time in the city center. We continue our journey through the Atlantic Tunnel, an amazing Norwegian road project, a tunnel connecting Averoya Island and Kristiansund. Buried 250 m below sea level (one of the deepest submarine tunnels in the world), almost 6 km long, the tunnel is a unique experience. And after the tunnel, an even bigger spectacle follows: The Atlantic Road, one of the most beautiful roads in the world as it is often called, is the Norwegian building of the century by choice of 2005. The highway that connects several islands and archipelagos is absolutely unique and breathless! Arrival in Molde in the evening, hotel accommodation, overnight.
Day 4: MOLDE-ÅLESUND
Breakfast. After breakfast a panoramic view of Molde, the "city of roses" as it is called. Around Molde are some of Norway's most famous fjord landscapes with views of more than 80 mountain peaks - and therefore we will go to the Varden Lookout, which offers great views of the Molde Fjord, a fantastic archipelago and the whole city. Shorter time for a stroll and coffee and we continue our journey through the fjords region. Departure for the ferry that connects Molde to Ålesund, by many the most beautiful Norwegian city known for its Art Nouveau architecture. In the early 20th century, Ålesund was devastated by fire and rebuilt by Art Nouveau architects from all over Europe, making Ålesund unique in Norway. The picturesque city is emphasized by its location on the peninsula that extends into the North Sea and the indented coastline with numerous islands connected by underwater tunnels. Upon arrival, we will first head to the 189-meter high Aksla hill offering stunning panoramic views of the city, island belt and Sunnmore Mountains to the west. Walking down to the city and walking downtown. Accommodation at the hotel, free time to enjoy the picturesque Alesund. Overnight stay.
Day 5: ÅLESUND-TROL WALL- TROLLEY ROAD- TROLLEY ROAD- GEIRANGER
Breakfast. Driving from Ålesund to Andalsnes. Along the way we will stop at the Troll Rock - 1100 meters high rock, the highest vertical rock in Europe. We will then continue our journey towards one of the most popular national tourist roads, the so-called Troll Road (Trollstigen). A very steep mountain road, it is also Norway's most photographed road. Nestled between waterfalls, deep valleys and hills that go as high as 1760 meters, the winding serpentines of this road are 850 meters high and 11 narrow bends with a slope of 10 percent are required. Stopping at the top of the road at the Visitor Center for a stroll to the panoramic points overlooking the spectacular road. Getting down the road to Norddalsfjord and taking a boat ride from Eidsdale to Linge. Continued journey to Geirangerfjord and namedof Geiranger, located below another famous road - Eagle Road. Like a fairy tale, with a beautiful view of the fjord, Geiranger will delight you. Overnight stay.
Day 6: GEIRANGER - HELLESYLT-STRYN-NP JOSTEDAL - BRIKSDAL ICE - NORDFJORDEID

Today it continues to lead us through remarkable landscapes and locations, through the unique Norwegian nature, which, not without reason, has been called by many the most beautiful country in the world. After breakfast, boarding a ship in Geiranger and a one-hour fjord boat ride which also put UNESCO on the list of protected natural heritage, with the most famous waterfalls of the Norwegian fjords such as the Seven Sisters, the Bride's Veil, and others, overlooking the lonely farms above fjords and emerald green landscape. Disembarking in Hellesylt and continuing the journey through the Nordfjord region. Visit the small town of Stryn for a short refreshment and souvenir shopping and a trip through the beautiful Fjord landscapes, dense forests and plateaus to Jostedal NP, where the largest glacier in mainland Europe is located. One of the most famous and accessible is the Brixdal Glacier in the Oldedalen Valley. Climb to the glacier (we recommend an extra charge for the mountain vehicle when booking the arrangement!). Free time and continued journey through the Nordfjord region. Accommodation in or around Nordjfjordeid. Overnight stay.
Day 7: NORDFJORDEID-Naeroyfjord-FLAM-Myrdal-VOSS-BERGEN
Breakfast. After breakfast check out of the rooms and travel to Goodwangen that takes us through the longest tunnel in the world, the Laerdal tunnel. On arrival at Goodwangen, we board a ship that will take us through the Naeroyfjord to the village of Flam. Small and picturesque, the village has about 350 inhabitants and more than 450,000 visitors a year, and the reason is the famous mountain railway that connects Flam to Myrdal and to which we will also embark after a short leisure time in Flam. After arriving at Myrdal, continue on to Voss and continue to Bergen. Accommodation in a hotel, overnight.
Day 8: BERGEN
Breakfast. One of Norway's most famous and beautiful cities, Bergen, the old Hanseatic port, is the jewel of the fjords region. After breakfast, take a tour of the city center of one of the most beautiful Scandinavian cities and the second largest city in Norway: preserved wooden trading houses from the Hansa era when Bergen was a powerful trading center and the main center of the Lofoto fish trade - Bryggen Harbor, whose beautiful wooden houses stand on the UNESCO list of protected heritage - Fort Bergenhus. Possible departure for the city funicular Floybannen on the hill above Bergen, with magnificent panoramic views of the city (highly recommended!). Free day to enjoy the colorful and lively Bergen. Return to the hotel at the agreed time with the tour manager or individual return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 9: BERGEN-Hardangervidda-OSLO
Breakfast. Departure from Bergen to Oslo. The journey to Oslo takes us across the fascinating Hardangervidda Plateau, which is considered one of the largest in Europe. The plateau inhabited by the largest wild reindeer herds in Europe rises above the forest, and in the bare, moonlit landscape, you will be amazed by the many lakes and wide swamps. Before you go, you can enjoy the view of the Voringfoss Waterfall, which falls 182 meters in depth, with the largest vertical drop in Norway. Arrival in Oslo and hotel accommodation. We suggest a visit to the modern Aker Brygge district, which has been transformed from an old shipyard into a popular destination known for its characteristic combination of traditional and contemporary architecture and for its many restaurants and cafes by the sea. Back to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10: OSLO-ZAGREB
Breakfast. Panoramic City Tour: We'll start by going to Holmenkollen Hill: a hill in the northwest of the city where the famous ski jump is located and offers fantastic views of the city and the Oslo Fjord. After a visit to Holmenkollen, we descend to one of the city's most famous attractions, the famous Frogner Sculpture Park. A panoramic tour of the city's other major attraction, the Bygdoy Peninsula, which houses several exceptional museums, and we will also reach the famed Opera House in the modern Barcode neighborhood. MINIMUM OF PASSENGERS: 25
Norwegian currency is the Norwegian krone. Currency can be purchased in Croatia before the trip begins, and we advise you, if you have the opportunity, to obtain it as the exchange rate is often more favorable than on-site. In addition, this journey is a region where it will be difficult to change money, we go through towns and cities where it will be impossible. However, it is easiest and often best to bring your credit cards with you. Credit card payments are widespread in all Scandinavian countries and cash payments are becoming less frequent, in fact disappearing. Visa, Mastercard and Diners are somewhat more commonly accepted than American Express. Larger souvenir shops near major tourist resorts will also receive euros (they almost always return the rest of the money in local currency), but for all other expenses (such as drinks, food, etc.) you need to have the national currency, since it is generally not possible to pay euros.
WHAT TO TAKE FROM CROATIA TO TRAVEL?
For travel, we recommend sportswear and comfortable waterproof footwear. The Scandinavians are not too formal and generally dress simple. It is essential to have good shoes or sneakers, as well as a good windbreaker.
It is good to bring not only sunscreen during the summer months, but also a mosquito repellent, which is abundant in the summer along the lakes and rivers Scandinavia abounds in.
LENGTH BY BUS
Scandinavia is very long distances. Apart from one small part of southern Scandinavia, most of this area is free of highways (due to the sparse population and small population in the north, these countries do not need to build highways outside the regions leading to the capitals). This means that it travels longer and slower, but you are in more beautiful and immediate contact with nature and see more of the small town and lifestyle.
Hotel accommodation is 3/4 * category. Scandinavian hotels are often furnished in typical Scandinavian functional style. The chains we use are Thon, Scandic, Nordic Choice and the like. In all hotels, on all the above programs, we offer buffet breakfast.
Scandinavians tend to eat a lot of breakfast; The Scandinavian breakfast buffet therefore often includes (with the usual spreads, pastries and everything else you find anywhere in Europe) fish specialties like marinated salmon, raw herbs in various sauces, caviar, but also dairy drinks, Arctic berry marmalades, etc.
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas in Scandinavia, so there are no smoking rooms in hotels. The fines for smoking in the room are very high, from 150 up to 500 €.
Half board supplement
Surcharges on site or à la carte dinners at restaurants are several times more expensive than paying for reservations. Hotel dinners are 3 course dinners or a buffet. We definitely recommend that you pay for the dinners as they are spot onmuch more, and some of the hotel positions on this trip, as we often move through sparsely populated areas and villages, do not have the opportunity to eat elsewhere because we are situated in beautiful Norwegian nature. Food prices in Norway are much higher, so in Oslo, for example, you will pay a plate of pasta 150-180 kn, a small beer 80-100 kn, a sandwich of 50-80 kn, a soup of 80-100 kn, ice cream of 25-30 kn, the menu in Mc Donalds 60-80 kn, etc. Travelers who opt for half board do not have to spend a lot of extra money on food. As a rule, portions are more abundant and larger than in other countries.
The water is potable and of good quality throughout Scandinavia. Scandinavians drink large quantities of rare coffee, but in larger cities there are restaurants with Italian coffee. McDonald's coffee is approx. 15-20 kn, in pastry shop or cafe ca. Depending on the type of restaurant, 25-30 kuna, cappucino from 35-45 kn. In many places, a second cup of coffee is free or half the price. Refreshments at the outlets: 30-40 kn. Alcohol is expensive and can only be purchased at government stores.
Your travel manager will advise you on how to buy souvenirs. We'll come up with just a few ideas: everything with reindeer - from lingerie, over figurines and candles to pads. Arctic berry liqueur and marmalade. Sob's salami. Canned moose. Aquavit brandy. Troll figurines. Beautiful and quality sweaters. Viking drinking vessels. Silver jewelry and souvenirs (vessels, wooden and metal objects, drums) by the Lapland people themselves.
AND IN THE END ...
Norway is an area of exceptional and untouched natural beauty, still clear lakes and rivers, beautiful islands, large expanses of sea, picturesque capitals with rich cultural offer. And the Norwegian region of the fjords is a jewel in the crown and a journey you will remember for the rest of your life. Fantastic, dramatic, spectacular, authentic and unique. It is difficult to find words to describe the Norwegian fjords, words are not enough because, without a doubt, it is something truly unique: mountains, fjords, waterfalls, glaciers, beautiful cities and cultural heritage ... You will not travel to attractions, you will travel THROUGH attractions. Landscape as fictional and nature that you must experience to believe that it is possible ...
